Opening Night-Holland Portrait

This portrait of Richard and Mary Holland, namesakes of the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha, Nebraska, was commissioned by Omaha Performing Arts. It hangs permanently in the lobby of the Holland Center. A quote by the Hollands is on the wall below the portrait...it reads, "All who come here...listen, reflect, dream, laugh, cry, cheer...this hall belongs to you. - Dick and Mary Holland" This piece was painted in 2011 from a photograph of the Hollands enjoying the first performance at the Holland Center in 2005.
