This is my granddaughter in her Christmas dress and new red shoes, as she was waiting to see Santa. I bought the little coat and hat for her when she was just 6 months old and was thrilled that it fit her this year. When I saw her all dressed up, I knew I had to paint her! She looked to me like a little Victorian doll. This painting was been accepted into the Salon International 2011 Juried Exhibition at Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas.
